Christian Schønau resigns from the Board

In connection with the election of Christian Schønau as the new Foundation Chairman there has been extensive press coverage in Danish media.

Christian Schønau has issued the following statement:

“The media speculations concerning conflicts of interest between my duties as Chief of Court of TRH the Crown Prince and Crown Princess and as Chairman of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation create an unsustainable situation. Therefore I have informed the Board of Directors that I will terminate my engagement once the Foundation has found a replacement, or at the latest at the next board meeting in June.”

“The Foundation notes the decision with great regret,” says Kim Nøhr Skibsted, Executive Director.
