Associate Professor Dorthe Bomholdt Ravnsbæk received the Grundfos Prize 2020 in recognition of her research in nanomaterials, especially lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are found everywhere from mobile phones to electric cars, and they are a crucial component in the green transition.

The Grundfos Prize
The Grundfos Prize was established by the Foundation in 2001 with the aim of stimulating, recognizing and supporting national and international research in pioneering, socially beneficial and far-sighted solutions in the technical and scientific field.
The award consists of the Be-Think-Innovate statuette and 1 million Danish kroner, of which 250,000 is a personal gift of honor and the remaining 750,000 can be freely used for further research within the prize recipient’s research area.
