Seven new Community Engagement Grants and a special emergency funding grant were approved by the Grundfos Foundation to support community projects across Burkina Faso, Chile, China, Kenya, Spain, Togo, and Ukraine.
So far in 2022, approximately 15.8 million DKK (EUR 2.1 million) has been approved out of the 20 million DKK (EUR 2.7 million) total allocated in 2022 for support to community engagement by Grundfos companies. Additionally, approximately 4.9 million DKK (EUR 665,000) of the additional 5 million DKK (EUR 672,000) made available to support local emergency relief Ukraine’s neighbouring countries has been allocated.
Several of this quarter’s approved projects aim to bring access to water across various regions, whereas others focus on social inclusion projects to support women and mental health programmes.
