One of the organisations supported by a grant is the Danish branch of the Growing Trees Network. Planting trees supports biodiversity, absorbs CO2, protects the groundwater, and provides a meaningful outlet for Grundfos employees to volunteer for our climate.
Growing Trees Network has worked with Grundfos on several occasions and always provides a smooth process and a good experience on the day. The goal is to continue to support We Plant Together and grow it into a national initiative with Grundfos employees continuing to lead the way.
In 2023, Grundfos held a tree-planting event where more than 100 colleagues participated. The event was called “Vi planter sammen” (We plant together) where other companies in the region also participated. Photo: Growing Trees Network
The tree-planting project will be co-organized by the Grundfos Employee Ressource Group Future@Grundfos (intranet) where young professionals will support activity planning and link up with a global initiative with volunteer tree planting events in 5 different regions, all with the shared goal of planting trees and contributing to a greener future for our planet.
