Every year, we celebrate one of the cornerstones of Grundfos’ success: Its innovative and passionate employees. As of 2021, the Foundation sponsors 6 employee prizes.
Open to all companies of the Grundfos Group
The application modules will be open from 8 January to 9 March, 2025. The Foundation underlines that although the application module is located at Grundfos’ intranet, we wish to see applications from all companies in the Grundfos Group, including Peerless Pump, MECO, DAB Pumps, Eurowater, Sintex, and other subsidiaries.

Grundfos Innovation Award
This award is given to an employee or a group of employees in Grundfos who, in the course of the year, have made a particularly creative and innovative contribution within one of the following three categories (each winning team is awarded 10,000 EUR):
- technology
- business development
- sustainability
Grundfos Scholarship
Up to five Grundfos employees per year have a chance to win a Scholarship for studies or learning activities that go beyond the limits of a regular employee development plan within a total framework of 30,000 EUR. More info on Insite

Grundfos Community Engagement Award
The award showcases the best local community and charity initiatives across the Grundfos Group and acknowledged the good will and dedication of the employees. The prize of 20,000 EUR is transferred as a donation to a partner organization (NGO) outside Grundfos More info on Insite
Grundfos Environmental Impact Award
This prize is awarded to the people behind a project or idea which significantly provides environmental impact, reduces footprint and has global potential. The winning team is awarded 10,000 EUR. More info on Insite
Grundfos Health, Safety & Well-being Award
The prize is awarded to the people behind an initiative that goes the extra mile to improve our Health, Safety & Well-being standards. The winning team is awarded 10,000 EUR. More info on Insite

Grundfos Culture Ambassador Award
The award is given to up to 3 individual winners role-modelling Grundfos values, Grundfos Key Behaviours: Accountability, Collaboration and Customer Centricity, or other culture specific elements. The winners share the 10,000 EUR prize money equally. More on Insite

This year’s keynote speaker was the Founding Director of Institute of Ecotechnics. Mark Nelson, who gave a very interesting introduction to Ecotechnics and Biosphere 2: New Approaches to Regenerating our world. You can watch the keynote below (ffw to 06:11):
Mark Nelson also appears in the film Brave Blue World (watch trailer) that Grundfos has helped create in partnership with the BlueTech Foundation and others.
