The latest round of Community Grants approved were roughly 6,5M DKK going into projects that include volunteering in the following countries: Argentina, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Ghana, Philippines, South Africa, Peru, Chile, Denmark, Ethiopia, Colombia, Nigeria and Belgium.
In Colombia, the collaboration with Agua Por La Vida expands to include 3 agro-industrial schools where Grundfos Colombia employees will volunteer (construction and technical support and training events with the kids in the schools.

In Slovakia, Grundfos colleagues who volunteer their time to promote human rights, as well as the movie “Into Dust” which focuses on water access at the human rights film festival ‘One World’ now features many, and in Ethiopia, Grundfos colleagues are supporting Plan International in getting a verified national training and train-the-trainers program up and running to boost capacity and knowledge in water infrastructure, pumps, and the necessary improvements needed to secure safe water for people.

There are still EUR 1.3 million available for the remainder of the period, and a new framework will be available in 2024. All employees in companies within the Grundfos Group can submit applications on behalf of local organisations operating within the areas of Water, Climate, and People.
